Fencing rankings & results — where to find them

USA Fencing tracks two different things: your classification (the A–E letter rating) and your points ranking (national and regional standings). Here's what each means and exactly where to look your fencer — or anyone — up.

1. Classifications (the A–E letters)

Earned by placing at tournaments, these seed events and never expire (they carry the year earned, like "B24"). Full explanation in our ratings guide.

2. Points rankings (national & regional)

Separately, USA Fencing keeps rolling points standings by weapon and age category (Youth, Cadet, Junior, Senior, Veteran) that decide national-event seeding and team selection. Points come from regional (RYC/RJCC) and national (NAC) events.

• Official standings — usafencing.org/point-standings (national + regional points live in the USA Fencing member portal).
• Look up any fencer or club — FencingTracker is a free public database of USA Fencing ratings, rankings, club rosters and full bout history. The fastest way to see where a fencer stands.
• World rankings — the FIE (international federation) publishes senior and junior world rankings and World Cup results.
